Well as you can see Katherine, inexpensive UK holidays that are designed for families to have some fun without breaking the bank or having bored children.

LOL, I was just going to ask what in tarnation Butlins Breaks was.

I thought it was some kind of disease or something until I read the whole post.

Never been there, don't even know where it is, but I'm jealous already if it's a castle.

I haven't been on a Butlins break but we went on a Haven break not long ago. We went to Haggerston Castle and there was lot's to do for the little ones. They had plenty of activities for little ones. There was a morning club which did crafts, songs, games etc. Then we had lunch and afterwards there was always something on like a kids show, treasure hunt etc. The pool was good and clean! In the early evening there were children's shows with the Haven characters with singing and dancing afterwards. The caravans were basic but clean and in good condition, there was a nice playground. Most things came with the holiday and the few you could pay for if you wanted to do were cheap compared to a lot of other holidays and if you have a toddler aren't things you would be doing anyway. For instance a walk round the park on the little ponies was only £10, the water walkers (you go in a giant inflatable ball and run on top of the water) was £6, the mini jet skis (also on the pool) was £6 too.
Haven is worth a look at it.
