I think the best finger foods for health wise are veggie sticks/cubes!!! I used to steam potato, carrot, beans, broc, and have them cut into small cubes that were big enough to pick up but small enough to have in their mouth. You can also do veggie sticks which is mashed whatever packed together then rolled in bread crumb and baked for 10 mins in the oven, it makes almost like a bread stick but veg( you can also buy them) Slices of banana, grapes in half, strawberries, cantaloupe or honey dew melon, watermelon all in little cubes

Food before 1 is just for fun! No complex recipes needed. Simple, soft cut up foods: banana, avacado, steamed potatoes & carrots,. I like to get the peas and carrots frozen veggies mix (the one with the carrots in the itty, bitty cubes) and steam them, then cool tem down and offer those. Perfect size, perfect foods.
