What are the best casual/education apps for kids?

I am interested in the best casual/education apps other mums use and rate highly. I like stuff which won’t just rot my kids brains and actually requires them to think a bit. My preference is free apps but paid ones are ok as long as they are not full of ads or in app purchases (that goes for the free ones too if possible!).

I’m looking forward to everyone’s suggestions. If I can, I will update my post with the best/most popular suggestions.

By the way, I have posted this in a number of groups to get the best answers. Please check the other groups too for answers!

Thanks,
Jennie

Hi Jennie,

I saw your question and I thought I would add my two cents. I have already responded to a few other threads with this suggestion and given that you are asking a similar question I thought I would answer yours too. I would recommend checking out what other people wrote. I will add this response to each of your questions.

The best game I have seen for my kids is BugRope. It is great little game the kids love. It is free, no ads and no in-app purchases. It is available at Google Play at:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=processing.test.bugrope&hl=en

Hope it helps!

Cheers,
Amira
