I'm ticked off with all the companies especially johnsons baby stuff because it has those quanternium ingredients that release formaldehyde plus parbens that cause cancer.
I've been reading about this "Yes to carrots" or "yes to cucumbers" brand and it sounds safe, has anyone else heard of it/tried it?
And also does anyone know of safe affordable products that you can but at shoppers drugmart? Lol.

I'm with you, I felt that exact same way 2 years ago with my son, especially after finding out that Aveeno is part of Johnson & Johnson, which is what I was using because of my sons sensitive skin. I didn't know where to turn or what to buy that would not break the bank! I did some research and simply switched stores and now get all of my household items including my baby care from an online wellness store. It really has been a lifesaver for me and at the end of the day I have piece of mind knowing everything in my house is safe for my little guy. I'm not familiar with the brand your talking about but I would say do your research and follow your gut, good luck!

there is a simple rule, never put anything on your baby's skin that not put in your mouth, babies should have no scented products and nothing other than organic, untreated product. there is no reason to use anything artificial on baby's skin, if it isn't absorbed, it is carried to the mouth by their hands. home made is cheaper, better, faster, less toxic and you already should have the ingredients at home.

Affordable IDK if they sell it around you but there's Live Clean their products are 98% plant derived, bottles are biodegradable and have a complete line of different shampoos, conditioners, leave in conditioners, baby soaps, ect . I used the baby soap with the blue cap because it smells amazing and I used it since she was an infant and nothing else

I have not heard of the yes to carrots brand. I read about this brand, made by a small company http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JMM... but I dont know if you can buy it at a local store. You can order it though. And i even read that they sometimes send free samples of other products when you order the baby shampoo.

Hi, sometimes we look into things a little deep. Don't worry too much. Just because a brand isn't organic doesn't mean that it isn't okay for your baby. It's great that you are concerned for the health of your baby, but just remember not to focus on too many of the nitty-gritty things. One of my close friends swears by the brand that you are talking about and has been using it for about 1&1/2 years. I've always used brands such as johnsons baby and have been happy, but if it concerns you then definitely using an organic or more natural brand would be better. Good luck :)

Oh awesome! Thank you Megan I'll look into it for sure.
And I know what you mean Gina lol I mean I'm not one of those "MUST GO ORGANIC EVERYTHING" type of person with myself but I'll do my best to eliminate as much harmful stuff as I can. I did use johnsons normal stuff until I read that they put that stuff in their products. It's stupid because they're like "we are reformulating our products now as fast as we can" BS but they are already selling the reformulated stuff in places like Finland and the Netherlands...ect.
I started using the Johnsons natural 98% shampoo cause there is no paraben and all that stuff so I'm happy about that. I'll try that say yes to carrots thing cause it's got some pretty wicked reviews. And probably try that stuff Megan just posted about. :P

Unfortunatly in these days they put all kind of things into all products, if one would want to be safe with everything you couldnt even buy an apple because they spray them with pestizides. One would have to go real green and grow your own apples, make your own soap and everything. I try to raise my child healthy but i do use johnsons, and i also like to drink a fanta everynow and again.I know its difficult because we all want the best for our health, especialy our childrens health but we hardly can avoid all the E's and stuff in food and other products.

Thanks Katelyn, I try not to worry but it breaks my heart knowing companies are putting those chemicals in baby stuff especially johnsons lol they've been a trusted family company forever. :(
