Is it safe to give a 4 month old baby orange juice squeezed directly from an orange from the tree. So that the baby can get Vitamin C?

NO! At 4 months ALL a baby needs is breast milk or infant approved formula. Both of those HAVE vitamin C in the amount that your child needs right now. Juice is never, ever 'needed', but a small amount on occasion after a year is OK. Solids are OK to start at/after 6 months, but again... ALL baby REALLY needs under a year is breast milk or formula.

Your baby could get a sore stomache and bad bottom rash from orange juice because of its acids. Your baby only needs formula or breast milk!

Breast milk or formula only at this age. All nutrients are provided by that.

No. Baby at that age should only get breast milk, or formula. Baby is getting plenty of nutrition from those.
