I think you'll find that's not true. I didn't crawl for very long. Some don't even crawl. My sister didn't. She scooted around on her backside. She's the top of her class. She gets very good grade which is even more astonishing because she's missed a lot of school. I also missed a lot of school but that was due to my asthma but I still got ok grades. Mostly B's in science and everything. Every child is different don't let people scare you. People have told me all sorts of things that have had me worried which mostly turned out to be BS lol. If they haven't done well it's probably because they haven't had much encouragement. I'm sure your son will be fine. Although my spelling and everything is probably less than desirable now. I just need to scratch up on skills. I wouldn't worry he's getting around that's the main thing. I think most kids would have trouble with wood and tiles.

Thanx for your reply, I did took him for a check up and doc said all is fine. He is trying to crawl but he gives 2 or 3 kniee steps forward then he rols over and the wooden floors and tiles are very slippery, he also lies on his stamic and slides himself forward and it looks very funny and quite and he also rolls alot and fast! I alwyas here if they dont crawl they will do bad at school so I am very warried about that and his also my fist child his my only one and I am also a single mom.

It's a good idea to get him thoroughly checked out by a doctor. It may be nothing. May be he hassn't got the confidence yet. Sometimes they just need a bribe put one of his favourite toys just out of reaching distance. Give him an incentive. The reason I say get him checked out is just to rule out any problems. I know of a young girl who would always sit still wouldn't move around they thought she was just well behaved but she had a hip problem. But it's more than likely he's just not ready yet. Each child is different both my kids did things when they were ready at different ages. They'll normally do it when you least expect it or when you have the camera on the charge lol. Maybe even show him yourself how to crawl I did with my daughter and my eldest son crawled around too. Super cute.
