Hello I have 4 children ages from 7 to 14 and my youngest son (9) has started hoarding food, stealing, lying and urinating everywhere. We have found food shoved inside the furnace, the water heater, the walls, behind the dryer and recently a lawn trash bag full of food hidden between the wall and cabinets. He lies when you ask him if he took anything and he keeps urinating everywhere and losing his underwear. He is now down to 2 pair of underwear. He is on Risperdial, Ritalin, Foaclin XR and Intuiv( ithink thats how its spelled) He has violent outbursts once caught by screaming, whining hitting kicking and stomping. My other children are kinda use to it but my girls are now being bothered by the violence and they get scared (there are 7 and 11) I want to put him in pull ups to stop the urination thing somewhat (whole floor smells of urine) but my husband feels he will do it more if we do. We have tried locking up the food also but now he climbs up to reach things and he is standing on things that could break . Not sure what to do anymore. Please help

We have a behavior specialist that comes to the house and his psych. and behavior specialist have told us many ideas none that have worked though . He is on a good diet since I saw the food intake information 4 years ago.. I was hoping someone might have a suggestion that I have not tried yet because we are running out of ideas. Thank though.

I would consult a pediatric psychologist and a behavior specialist to help you with his disorders. Also, watch his diet. Limit his carb intake and artificial dyes and preservatives. They are linking these things to increased incidents of outbursts in Autistic children.
