I agree with Jodi, Look around he kitchen and get a wooden spoon and some saucepans. They make a great noise and different sizes makes different noises. It's a great way to learn about what's around them.
Go outside and get different leaves and then place then under some paper and rub a crayon on the top. Instant etchings.

Wooden spoons, plastic containers, saucepans, so many things around your house can become instant entertainment. Cardboard boxes (if you don't have any, you may be able to get some at a recycling depot) can create hours of entertainment. Borrow books from a library and read together. Play ball - different size and weight balls. Go for a walk.

There are so many things you can do that don't cost money.
