Try rice. You can even add corn and peas in it if u want. My son is 2 now but when he was going he would like mashed potatoes ( if ur willing to go that route) and also rice and beans mashed up or refried. You don't have to worry about them getting too much of a bad thing like mashed potatoes our refried beans because they only eat a few bites. And as long as your still doing the veggies puréed and maybe oatmeal with blended fruit, your still feeding him/her the good stuff. They just want a lot to drink at that age they don't eat that much but trust me try rice or mashed potato.

I nursed all mine until they were 2 years--but they would eat what they could hold in their hands. Never tortillas--they will choke every time.Carrots are great until they have teeth, then they can choke.
Oatmeals, cream of wheat is high in vitamins.
Crackers, hard bread that they can hold.
This is a time of great exploration for them. They like to taste-test everything.
Sometimes they don't need a snack, they chew because they are teething--I take a frozen 'icee' put it in his sock and let them hold the sock and chew on the icee. Watch they can eventually chew a hole in it.
