What they said- great advice and definitely see about a nutritionist! Dove, we do that here too! I make them 'milkshakes' with banana or blueberries and vanilla pediasure or vanilla toddler formula (whatever is on sale) and 2%milk. Sometimes I throw in veggies- i'm so sneaky ;)

Have they asked you to consider a Mickey (G-tube)? They can be a great way to feed a child who has difficult feeding orally. You would feed him some sort of pediatric nutritional supplement (such as Pediasure) through it. I would ask your doc about seeing a dietician and consider this as an option. If he has CP (as I am assuming he does based on your description), this will only become more difficult as he ages and grows and his nutritional and caloric needs increase. Good luck to you and your son.

Is he still on formula or Pediasure or something? You can make smoothies or milkshakes using one of those and adding fruit, protein powder, etc... If he can keep it down it should help with the nutrition.

Ditto the nutritionist idea.

Awe poor baby. Is there any way your doctor can refer you to a nutritionist?
