This requires close supervision, but a friend of mine used this trick with her picky toddler. She had his food cut up and let him eat it with a tooth pick. He thought the tooth pick was so cool that he didn't think about what he was eating and just ate it.

* I try to make suppers that my picker eater will like every other day or so.
* Encourage her to taste new things even if she only takes one bite.
* Be patient, if you keep trying, it will get better.

I agree with Medic Mommy, my son was VERY picky when he was a toddler, they will eat when they are hungry enough, you can always try making things into fun shapes, like a cucumber into a star, ect Don't give up, and don't give in!!! It will get better!

The same thing the rest of us eat. I am not a short order cook and I do not cater. My 2 year old is picky but she will eventually give in and eat because she is hungry.
