What do you get a girl for her first easter? She will be 9 months old, almost ten months old at the time? Please give any suggestions.

I think the best first Easter gift someone got my son was one of those cute wearable towels. It was a bunny with the ears and everything...my son still loves it and its practical so its not something she'll grow out of real fast.

My daughter was 7 months old her first Easter. We too got her an Easter basket and we just bought her some Gerber Puffs along with some Gerber cookies. We also found a small stuffed Easter Bunny that had "My First Easter" on the belly and then '2008' on the bottom of it's foot (which we found at Walmart). We also got her a book. It's one of those Vtech Rhyme & Discover books (found in the baby section at Walmart). Then we stuck some bath toys (the ones that squirt), with some plastic eggs (which she found more interesting then everything thing else).
If you go to Walmart and look through their Easter section they should have some Easter toys listed between a $1 and $2. Majority of the toys aren't age appropriate for your daughter, but last year we found a cute little Easter board book that required putting our daughters picture in it, and then we found another cute little Easter bunny. Good luck!

Hi Amanda! That's how old my daughter was during her first Easter. We did get her a basket and put a ball, a book, some teething rings, and some Gerber toddler food like the apple rings and puffs. We also put a puzzle that was too advanced for her at the time, but in a couple of months she was able to manipulate it. And of course we put plastic eggs (empty) but she didn't care. She liked to play with them!
Have a great first Easter with your daugther!

our daughter was 3 months old her first easyer so we got her a bunny teddy that she still has and still loves. And as for people dismissing and saying they will never remember well we always told erin that she had it for easter when she was a baby and she is 3 now and is constantly saying to us that she got it when she was a baby so she will not forget.

Perhaps a cute little outfit ... a stuffed bunny or something ... a book about the real meaning of Easter ... all little things that you can keep if you wanted ... oh, and don't forget the candy (for Mom & Dad) ... hope this helps
Have a blessed day :)

for my daughter's first easter she was 5 months old and we put a bunny, board book and outfit in her basket. my husband said, "she is just a baby and will never remember it so there is no sense in us breaking the bank for holidays when she's little. soon enough she will want expensive things so save our money while we can." that really stuck with me and i set a budget for each holiday and birthday that i feel is good for her age. our daughter is now 2 so i will spend no more than $40 on her basket and $40 on her easter clothes. of course we are on a budget since i stay home full-time with her. do what you can but know that your time is more valuable than any gift. good luck!
