What do you think is the right age for a child to join a play school.

Play with other children is important because it teaches the child social skills that are necessary in life. Play allows children to develop their imagination, dexterity, and physical, mental, and emotional strength. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them. Play allows children to create and explore a world they can master, conquering their fears while practicing adult roles. As they master their world, play helps children have more self confidence they will need to face future challenges. Play with other children allows them to learn how to work in groups, to share, to negotiate, to resolve conflicts, and to learn to take up for themselves. Play allows children to practice decision-making skills, move at their own pace, discover their own areas of interest, and find passions they wish to pursue. Play also builds healthy, active bodies.
