What do you use that is disposable?

Do you try and avoid disposable products?....such as paper goods, diapers, and even some of how you choose to eat etc. and if you do use them what products do you use and do you feel guilty for doing so?

I use TP, Paper towels, plastic silverware (for kids snacks at school, as they never bring back my regular silverware), Diapers, wipes, pads, tampons, breast leak guards (as I am nursing), K-cup pod (as we have a keurig), razors, plastic sandwich bags for snacks and sandwich's.

Ummm that is what I can think of off the top of my head but I may add to it as I remember possibly something else. I also don't feel guilty for it as what we use is pretty essential.

we use toilet paper, disposable nappies, disposable pads and tampons, plastic ziploc bags which i often reuse until they die, razors, n that's about it. i have paper towels but they barely get used not even once a day sometimes. just for meat blood and milk because i don't want to wreck my dishcloths.

I do try to avoid it. But I will honestly say that no matter how environmentally conscious I become, I will never be giving up disposable toilet paper. We do use paper towels, but we also have lots of cloths we use to clean and such. The paper towels get use for stuff that you wouldn't want sitting for a bit in a reusable cloth like cat puke or things that stain badly. We cloth diapered, I use a diva cup instead of pads or tampons and my nursing guards were cloth (although I didn't leak much. Our coffee maker is just a drip with a copper filter, so nothing to dispose or reuse. I do use freezer bags, but we generally use tupperware for sandwiches and such. My daughter has a small lunch box that has separate compartments for stuff. So far we have gotten everything back. Both of us use razors with disposable cartridges. We probably generate about a half a green bag of garbage a week. Mostly non-compostable food waste and kleenex.

The reusable things we use in our household are diapers (we use cloth 95% of the time, disposable only at night), and plastic containers for packing lunches, I did use reusable breastpads when I nursed. We, like most people use TP, wipes, occasional plastic wrap for snacks/lunches (but I usually try to put things in plastic containers), occasional paper towel use. I do try to avoid them to some degree, but I try not to feel too guilty if I don't. I think most of the things we do use reusable things for save a TON in our landfills. I was super happy to switch to cloth diapers but just really didn't want to even try cloth wipes (my daughter is a huge pooper, I'd run out in a day!). If possible I prefer to pack reusable though sometimes it just isn't practical.
