Red meat. I can't remember where I read it - but full asians who ate more red meat than the rest of their family members gained several more inches. UGH its killing me that I can't remember.
I do know that proved true in my mother's family. She & her oldest brother are 5'6 & 6'0 and both of my grandparents are 5'4 and shorter. I'd been taller than my grandfather since I was 8yrs old. talk about weird.
Do not go nuts with red meat - to much of anything is bad - but adding a bit more to your diet might help and can't hurt.
theres nothing specific for height, but to aid in helping the body you should try boosting the immune system and keep bones strong, the healthier the child the easier it is for the body to grow properly.
Specifically to help keep the body healthy and strong your looking at calcium, iron, vitamin C, D, and E. Those are the main things but there are lots of other vitamins and minerals one needs. Those will also help with cold and flu season, find out from your doctor how much your child should get though since if you give too many vitamins and minerals you could make them sick.
