My son is 2 and a half, but sometimes go through days without eating. He will just refuse to eat and is also a very picky eater. I need to know if there is a good suppliment that will give his appetite a boose.

Keep healthy, child friendly snacks around where he can get at them. Leave a plate of cut up veggies and dip, or fruit and yogurt on a low table where he can grab food as he's playing. Offer him small, fun, healthy snacks throughout the day. Try fruit and yogurt smoothies.

Supplement with Pediasure. You can't buy products for kids that will boost appetite. Try taking him out to play. The more active he is, the more he will want to eat. Join a play group.

They just have really weird eating habits. Keep offering him good food. You may have to coax him with more snack like options, just keep it really nutritionally sound. You can give him a multi to keep the bases covered, but they don't do anything to boost appetite. Give his pediatrician a call about the actual vitamin or talk to your pharmacist, both would be good too. Especially if there are other meds he's taking.

If you really want to get his appetite up, get him out and running around and playing. Take a ball out into the yard or park and kick it around. Play chase/tag. Make sure he's getting enough sleep. Keep an eye on how much he is drinking, they will fill themselves up on milk and juice and blow off real food without anyone even realizing it.

Hope this helps.

Vitamin B and Iron increase appetite, pediasure will fill him up and decrease his appetite.

My kids have all went thru that & I suppliment their diet with Pediasure! That way they still get the nutrients that they may be missing. My 16 month old is on milk but I give her 2-3 bottles of Pediasure a day. I checked with her Dr. before doing this & he thought it was a good idea. And most kids like Pediasure.

Poly Vi Sol It is liquid and you can add it to whatever food or drink he will eat if he won't take it on his own. It has vitamin B and Iron in it along with other essentials

Vitamins will not boost appetite. You can give Pediasure as a supplement, but he won't be hungry if you do so he'll eat even less. How is his weight vs height? Is he proportional? If so, stop worrying. If not, talk to the doctor about an appetite stimulant.

On days when Brandon doesn't eat much (he will be 2 in July) I give him a Pediasure to drink.. That way I know he got some nutrition.. They are expensive, but he loves them.
