We got a great powder named Vegabin at the pharmacy,it has a very small up spoon in it and you add one spoon to the formula. Its a plant based binding powder. You can look it up on the internet Vegabin Tartex. If you can get that by your pharmacy i can really recommend it for the spit up.Good luck

I actually took it upon myself to change my daughters bc the doctor kept trying but toning was working. We used good start soothe for colic and excessive crying. It helped sooo much with the gas and throw ups. She starting falling asleep faster at night and wasn't crying out in pain from the gas anymore. Recommend you try this. Doctor said it was good that we found it!

My son's had a lot of trouble with the first formula I purchased.
I switched to Similac Sensitive and it worked miracles!

I've never used them, by the time we finally got in to see a specialist, my Son was 3 months and the doctor gave us the okay to start him on solids to help with the reflux. He said there's a variety of brands of anti-reflux formula's but they're all quite more expensive than the usual.

I'm not too sure where to get them but I'd imagine they'd be available from your local shopping centre, wherever you buy your food, or places like 'Big W'.

I had twins with reflux, they spit up and were very uncomfortable when eating regular formula. Adding cereal only irriated the reflux in their sensitive bellies. The only formula they could tolerate was Similac Alimentum.

It's not so much about the formula (though it can be), it's about the bottles. Use the gentleease bottles.

There's not a lot of 'spit up aid' formula's, but a specialist recommended Karicare Reflux for my Son, or infant gaviscon. You can start solids to help from 4+ months, but if the spit ups are frequent and making baby unfomfortable, you can start solids from 3 months.
