My 4 yrs old son went to per k , he was very excited and independent at the time when I dropped him at school. He said bye to me with smile, but when I went to picked him up he was very quite and scared ,I asked his teacher and she said "he was asking me something but I didn't understand then he get mad with me " but my son said when I was trying to tell her something and she didn't understand and I said you don't know what I am trying to tell you, my teacher start yelling me and she said you don't know how to talk with teachers.i mean its too much when a teacher yelling a 4 yrs old child on his first day of school. Now my son said I am scared and I will not going school, that's the first impression of teachers on him , but I used to tell him teachers are always very loving and kind . Now I am very worried what I need to do, because whenever he talks about school he said I wanna go to another school not in the same one. Please help me

I'd sit down and talk to the teacher. He's only 4 so his perception of yelling maybe different then what you are imagining. No matter how confident he was when you dropped him off its still scary and there will be an adjustment period. I don't think I would be withdrawing him because of one incident but I would explain to the teacher he seemed scared and withdrawn because of what happened
