My four year old is a SUPER pickey eater, won't even try new things. How do we get him to eat new foods and stay healthy?

We try to make it fun for him, and encourage him as much as possible, but he just does not want to try new things! He won't even taste them!

Any suggestions on how to get a 4 year old to branch out and realize that there are more yummy foods out there??

My son wouldnt eat veggies until i had a get together one time and he started eating veggies with the dips. So i started making my own dips chicpea, lentil spinach etc etc sometimes for fun i would give chocolate dip with some fruit but with pureed spinach in it

Just keep trying to introduce the foods dont push otherwise it becomes a power stuggle. If your worried about the health factor. Maybe puree the veggies and put it into other foods? Have you heard of the book Deceptively Delicious by Jessica senfield? Great recipies in there the kids wont even know their eating healthy stuff!
