I am a first time mom who is just looking for some general knowledge as my daughter enjoys sleeping for long periods of time at night. She is eating well and growing well but she just turned 2 months old and she will sleep for 6 hour at a time if I let her. Is that normal for such a young baby?

Enjoy it!!!!
Most babies don't sleep that long until they are 6 months if that.
Every baby is different and if your child is growing and healthy then so be it. Don't wake her, just let her sleep.

6 hours is a great stretch! Count your blessings and realize that it 'might' not last.

As for normal... all babies are different. Some will sleep that long or even longer at that age or a bit earlier.... some won't sleep that long til over a year. As long as she is growing and thriving... let the child sleep and enjoy! ;)
