What is the "normal" age for a child to stop sleeping with their parents?

I don't mean every night :) A conversation came up with myself & some friends and the question is basically, if the child only sleeps in mom & dads bed on friday and/or saturday nights at what age does that need to stop?

It depends, for some parents, they will leave it up to the child to stop on their own. For other parents, it could be when they are tired of sharing their bed. I don't think there is really a right or wrong answer for this.

That's a tough one. I would say 8-9. I co-sleep with my 2.5 year old and I did with my 6 year old so I'm not really sure. But those ages seem appropriate.
