I was about four months pregnant with our son and our daughter was sick with the flu and throwing up a lot. He would clean up the mess, give her a bath, start the laundry and sent me to take a nap because she hadn't slept through the night in two days. He let me sleep four hours that Sunday afternoon and ordered pizza for supper for us and made chicken soup for our daughter so that I could just relax. May not sound like a lot but it meant the world for me.

He brought me flowers at work when we found out we were pregnant with our first. While that is definetly sweet, I was more taken back by how well he took care of me during my 3rd pregnancy. It was full of a lot of complications. I was hospitalized over night and since he knew I was afraid to stay in the hospital after a 2 week stay with our 2nd child, he stayed with me all night long. He slept in a chair at my bedside. We did eventually lose that baby at 20 weeks, and the way he took care of my physical and emotional needs has been above and beyond. I am very blessed!

One of the most recent ones was when we had a gone on a day trip down to San Diego (about an hour drive) to see family. On the way home, our 3 month old son was a nightmare, screaming the whole way. We got home around 8 pm, and I was trying to get him to bed. I think I must have mentioned at some point that a cup of hot chocolate and a book in bed would be nice. I was sooo exhausted by the time I finally got William down, and I walked into the bedroom to find a nice warm cup of hot chocolate and the book I was reading sitting on the nightstand for me.
The most memorable thing was when I was pregnant they had out limited time special flavoured Skittles. They were flavoured cake, rootbeer, all sorts of great things! I hated Skittle until I was pregnant then I ate a bag or 4 a day! We found the limited time ones at the grocery store and me being silly I only bought 2 packs and couldn't find them again.
My Husband left for work about a week later and came home in 15minutes. I thought he had forgotten something. As it turns out the limitied time Skittles just arrived at the corner store he stopped to get smokes at. So he bought up a bunch and came rushing home to give them to me even though it made him late!!
So at work I had a desk drawer full of Skittle my Husband had tracked down for me until I left on maternity leave :D
I'm truly blessed to have a wonderful husband. I don't think so much that it is any one thing that he does. He pitches in and helps around the house everyday. We don't have her job and his job... he says "lets knock this out together and get it done so we can relax." He takes the kids out so I can have time on my own and surprises me with weekend trips away (he arranges for babysitting.. everything) or picks a silly holiday that no one knows about (the last one was "sweetest day") and gets me a little something (that time it was a mug with K+K engraved in it inside a heart). He has done the big things as well. I guess the biggest one was that he picked out the diamond for my engagement ring while he was in Belgium (for the Navy) and brought it home so he could have it set here. Or maybe it's that no matter where he went with the Navy, he always brought me chocolate from every country he was in.... that's pretty sweet (pardon the pun LOL).

For the past Valentine's he surprised me with a new camera. It was completely unexpected. He bought a memory card for it and everything. Had it inside a valentine's bag with a huge pooh balloon attached. The balloon is just now deflating. I've kept it as a reminder of his love for me. :)

He is sweet every day, he is always there to help with the children and helps with the house work. He also makes sure we get away and have alone time every so often. So to say the Sweetest thing he has ever done cannot easily be answered.
