What is/was your two year old's bedtime?

My son is nearing two and all of my friend's kids are up far later than my son's 7pm bedtime - it's been like that since he was about 1 and more often than not latly he fusses a bunch when it comes to going to sleep. I just wanted to get a larger impression and what people went with.

My 2 1/2 year old daughters bedtime is between 8-9 sometimes later if she napped. She does not have to get up in the morning and it's actually better if she sleeps in since my husband works nights, I get my son up and ready for school than leave for work.

My little ones who are 4 and 6 are always in bed by 7, usually a little earlier. My eldest sometimes reads to herself or sings herself to sleep for about 20 minutes before she settles fully.

My 4yr old (nearly 4 1/2) and my 2 (very nearly 3yr old) go to bed at 6.45pm.

This has been their bedtime since they were a few weeks old.

Even now, if my 4 yr old isn't in bed by 7pm I find him asleep on the lounge or he taken himself to bed.

My 3 year old's bedtime is about 7:30 to 8 depending on when she had her nap during the day, how long she took her nap and if she actually took a nap that particular day. It was like that when she was 2. I am a firm believer in structure for young kids when it comes to bedtimes.
