Food allergies is a growing problem, especially amongst children. Parents are often the driving force behind the good ideas keeping kids safe while they're away from home. So, let's share! What is your school doing that impresses you in regards to food allergies?

We have a total nut ban. There are also stringent no sharing policies in place, as there are other allergies in the school. The canteen has photos up of the children with allergies, so all staff and volunteers know which children can and cannot be served certain food items.

Basically, our school is totally open to any and all policies which will protect ALL of its students.

As little as they can get away with. Calling parents of children with food allergies liars, giving them the allergic foods anyway and saying they are following the diet statements despite physical proof otherwise, cross contaminating foods... Any effort would be better.
