What kind of formula can my baby drink at 1 year old?

Most kids do NOT drink whole milk at 9 months, because that is not the recommendation. A child fed whole milk too early can encounter digestion problems and also will not be getting the nutrients they need that generally comes from formula.
At one year, you may start introducing to whole milk if your child is eating a variety of solids. You may continue on formula if you feel it is necessary for your child - for example I had a daughter who was particularly underweight and struggled to gain weight at that age, so I kept her on formula until she was about 18 months and showing some clear growth.
