Baby oil!!! My 11 year old still gets it and I use baby oil on him. Also, I keep his hair cut short, that helps.

For my daughter I would put olive oil on her head about a half hour before her bath and then wash her hair with lots of lather and make sure that all the soap is rinsed out thoroughly. Then I would use my daughter's baby combe and go against the direction the hair grew in and it would lift the cradle cap gently. It took me about a week to get it out (it was especially tough as she had tons of hair!) but with a little persistece it all came out. Never scrub to hard as you can irritate your little ones scalp. Good luck.

The best and safest way I found was with Olive Oil that i rubbed on my son'w head. It dries it out really well and i used a soft baby brust to brush off the flakes. I hope this hepls

Lather hair with shampoo and gently but firmly scrub scalp with scrubbing part of washcloth. After a few baths it should be much better. I never used the olive oil it just seems to messy and hard to remove.

when my daughter had cradle cap i tried the oil and baby brush but it still wouldn't go away. I finally waited tell she had just gotten out of the bath and sat her in my lap and just started pickin at it. I know it sounds bad but it actually worked. Don't pick hard just really soft it also helps if you have a damp rag to rewet their head so it stays soft...

normal Olive oil from the supermarket cover the area of cradle cap with circular motions and a fine tooth comb backwards through the hair works a treat my girl had it so bad and within a week it was away and keep washing their hair with dentinox cradle cap shampoo my boy is 3 and i still use it on hm.

When my daughter had it i asked my nan and she said "Bicarb soda and olive oil" so reluctantly i mixed the 2 and rubbed it on her head........surprisingly it loosened the cradle cap and then with a fine toothed comb i combed her head and without a fuss it all came off.

baby oil, baby oil, baby oil!!! My 11 year old still gets it and when he does, I soak the spots down with baby oil. Also, keeping the hair short(for a boy) is the best way to prevent it.

Hi, My boy had it bad. I did the same process as Amanda. Put baby oil on his head and loosened it up using a baby brush with the really soft bristles. It got rid of it really quickly :)
