I think I was more hesitant to taking my girls to a babysitter, than an actual school. The hardest part for me was putting them on the bus. lol! And if you think you're messing with her education, you're not! She'll be getting a nice head start before kindergarten. Don't worry, you'll get through this just fine. (:

Unless you are intending home school she will be going soon enough.

Part of our jobs as parents is to give our little ones the resources to be able to cope in the world on their own. This starts in the school years by slowly giving them independance to do things without us hovering around. She will be able to make some new friends and will have a ball socializing with others.

The teachers are trained to help children, it's not like you are leaving her with the teenager down the street who has no idea on what a child needs.

Why are you so nervous to send her to school?? Obviously she is old enough to express the want and need to go. She will obviously be old enough to talk to you if something isn't good at school. You call some schools go in observe them during school and pick the one that will be a great match for you and your daughter. Mom you need to start letting go eventually and obviously she is more than ready.
