If it is what I am thinking of, you can get Phenergan in the US, it is also known as Promethazine and is for anti nausea, makes you very sleepy. However you can only get it via prescription.

LOL..wasn't aware u were in the states..that explains y u havn't heard of it. U can get is at all chemists here (AUS). It's actually been used here for years..my mum even gave it to me..though it was a higher concentraion then..(valergin), it's still avail, I used the higher strengh when taking my kids over seas. And havn't needed it it years, my eldest was a dead set little turd for waking up..lmao, my own fault I'd like to add, he still wakes up now, but knows better than to go near me..grumpy mummy lol. My youngest is on meletonin syrup and if i could right a song about the drug I would..lol, It's saved my life.

Oh melatonin is natural. Although it had the opposite effect on me. This seems like it hasn't been going on for that long....I mean kids DO have bad dreams. I just wanted to know where you can get phenergin from because they don't sell that in the states.

LOL, I assure it's not addictive as long as u use it sparingly and only for the length the pharmisit suggests and stop after that.

Each to their own hun, I used it with both my boys and one is now on a constant dose of meletonin. I wouldn't suggest u use it as long term solution, but sometimes it's quite simply a matter of getting them back in a routine, and this does it quickly.

Phenergin?! That's very addictive, I would NOT recommend that.
Yes, the wrath is coming. Is that like benadryl? A sleeping pill? I had to google it because I've never heard of it, but it sounds like bad, bad, news.
At 16 months or as children get older as a toddler their sleep patterns change. My two yo has never slept through the night. Is she waking up crying?

I know I'm going to be bringing the wrath on myself by making this comment..lol, as many don't agree but when mummy doesn't get sleep, household go to crap house. Try phenergin over a span of a few nights if she wakes up as she may just be out of wack and giving her milk will just become a habit. Of course there is the other techneiques of just putting her back to bed with no eye contact, it's just up to u what ur willing to do. the most important thing is to make sure that ur not giving her another reason to wake up.
