I have a son who will be 7 next month. he has been on med since he been 4 year old. on concerta and every so once while have to increase or add something else. But anyway, the last four months before school got out he been having bad tempers, if a kid push or hit him or picking on him he gets mad and starts hitting and kicking and sometimes use's bad word's. (when school started and riding the bus he was so good and no trouble until the one kid started causing him trouble at school and one on the bus then it like everything broken loose.) He get's blame for starting it. I am trying to understand why the one's that start it doe not get there punishment for it.. i agree so be both. this way it show that one can't get away with it. This been happening and can't seem to get the school and the bus transportation to understand this. So ever since he been acting out in a mean way and never no what going to set him off. I am in the process of having my son see a counselor and then i am going have to go to the superintend of the school not the Principal cause he was not working with me and he would not return calls to my son dad and he left message to get this solve. Oh before i forget my son was also starting to have night mare's from all this teasing and bullying etc. Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do for the near future and try to help my son on this. i have a psychic's involved too.

my son goes to a really good school, and has adhd, sometimes he has had enough of the bullying and has a fight. Like yesterday on the bus a kid would just not leave him alone kept taunting him etc., my son lost it and pulled a huge chunk of hair out of the bullies head. The bus driver told me, the (bully) had been egging my son on, and my son let him have it. She said it was not good behavior, but saw that he was pushed to his action. Wanted me to talk to him about ignoring the bully. In my day as a New Yorker, if I were being bullied, it only happened once because I didn't get in trouble for sticking up for myself.

One of the side effects of Concerta is extreme anger. So I would also look at that as part of the culprit.

My son is also on Concerta. If he doesn't take his pill the exact same time everyday or misses a dose, he is definitely more hyper and angry.

Meds, yes,cso he won't use recreational drugs as a teen, a counselor is a good idea, will they do bio feedback to teach him calming mechanisms? Look into massage too the relax him, meditation before bed. A psyco therapist can talk to him too.
All kids that were mean should be punished, not one. That is how it is in my city.

Ok, firstly, it is ADHD, not AHAD, and psychics cannot help you. I am hoping your are seeing PSYCHOLOGISTS.

Now, with regard to your son constantly being the one to get into trouble, have you actually SEEN what goes on, or are you just taking your son's word for it that he isn't starting anything? It makes no sense to me that they would only punish your son if the others were being physically violent and starting things too. How do you know it isn't your son starting it?
