Hello everyone, I'm exhausted and my poor 18 months old baby boy even more. He start to cough 4 months ago, when 4 times it get really bad for over week. He's been on Amoxicilin + Steroids 3 times in last 12 weeks.. :-( We had to use blue inhaler too.
On the top of that tried many other things.. Calcough, warm lemon water, eucalyptus - inhale in the bathroom, or 1 drop under the pillow, vapour, camomile tea, he sleeps up over the night, wet towel on the heater, drinks water.. But nothing seems to work out.. Cough is back for the 5th time and I'm really worry, seems to be the worst cough ever. Took him to Walk in Centre and doctor didn't find any infection or else.. She said, he is fine! I'm taking my little one to GP tomorrow, but don't want to get more steroids (it is too dangerous with all those side effects).
Does any of you have/had similar situation with your child? Is it better to take him straight away to hospital?
Thank you for your time and answers. :-)
