Well, first of all, if you're a vegetarian, you already have a dietary preference. Why is a vegetarian lunch, such as you feed at home not ok? You don't have to include nuts in a veggie lunch, nor does your child have to eat noodles every day.

Like I said, what do you "normally" feed for lunch at home, and why is it not ok to send it to school? That's the easiest way to handle the question. An alternative would be to pay for school lunches, which (if you're in the US, anyway) are required to offer vegetarian options.

Hi Shawnn,
Thanks for ur reply
Actually my family is pure vegetarian (not even egg but dairy product is ok). And his school is nuts free So I really don't know what to pack.
Normally I give him veggies and fruits for snacks.but for lunch every day same pasta he is kind of tired.

Nutritious food. If the schools have any guidelines or restrictions, make sure you follow them.

What would you normally feed them for lunch if they were home?
