shes slowly softening up with pooping i was extremely happy when she did it ALL by herself yesterday and was nice and soft!! very happy with the way rice milk is agreeing with her i just wish there was something more healthier for her i am going to try giving her a bit of prune juice which my dr also recently said to try so thank you michelle.. i was very worried that i should not be giving this to my baby, but its working so im happy if she is !!!

a small amount of brown sugar in a little warm water also helps with constipation.definately do what ever research you can to find out what she can have as an alternative veggies are good otherwise especially pumpkin and sweet potato pureed even if you turn them almost into soup as I've done with my son from time to time so he can still have a drink that is filling and has nutrients

if she is still constipated try adding a small amount of diluted prune juice to her diet each day to help get her moving. I had to this with my son as he also had a milk allergy which caused us to use rice milk as well. The prune juice loosened the stool and helped him to go and he was a much happier baby. He is now 10 going on 11 extremely happy and healthy good luck.

im on the waiting list for testing unfortunatly it may take a bit, have had may opinions my baby is now on rice milk (which your not supposed to use as a formula, but that is the last thing she can have other then water) doing very well in the last couple days but in time will tell, loves her veggies, and yess was/is very terrible for her, i hate seeing her in soo much pain!!! thank you for the help:)

Your poor little girl, that must be so awful for you.

I would get a second opinion, maybe see and allergy specialist? Try and get to the bottom of what is causing the problem rather than trying to fix the symptoms.

I hope you find some answers. :)
