The only thing which ever worked for me in my cold problem is Cold Be Gone tea.I am grateful to my physician for such a healing remedy.

Definitely lots of fresh fruit juice, even regularly before they even get a cold and I use Paedamin which is available from the Chemist. This is the only thing that has worked for my kids in drying out their nose etc. Also vicks on chest is great. I have been told that cough medicines are a waste of money but that is up to you, I don't bother with them, I think that only in severe cases and if prescribed by doctor are they necessary. You can get nasal spray for young children if you need to, I think it is just saline solution.

my little boy had a cold when he was only a few weeks old the only things i used were vicks on the clothes or on a tissue near his head steam in the bathroom depends on how old your child is hun, the older they are the easier it is you can get them to sweat it out wrapping up in a quilt, there are medicines like beechams or lemsips, or you could even have honey and lemon in a cup of hot water just a teaspoon of honey and a little sueeze of lemon, steaming the cold out i think works really well hope this is of some help to you good luck xx
