What would you do about a hospital mistake?

Hi. I'm having difficulty trying to decide what to do about the hospital where I had 4 of my 6 kids.
Basically my last son now 5 months old was incorrectly shown on the paperwork his birth weight. When in delivery suite George was weighed and my husband was stood by the midwife weighing him and she told us he was 2.80kg. We asked for it to be converted to lb and oz and she said she's have to look at the chart so she came back with 7lb 3oz.We were ok with this weight as I had the gestational diabetes and was started off a week early due to that and my other health probs. On the 3rd day at home midwife came and weighed George and told us he'd lost a whole lb so sent us back to hospital for tests. He was slightly dehydrated so we had to top his fluids up using a little cup with breast milk. It was so serious that it could have made him lose so much weight. After 2 days we were discharged. I was looking at the paperwork from the hospital and noticed his recorded birth weight was wrote down as 3.127kg.
What would you do in this situation? Any advice please? Thanks in advance :)

My daughter DID lose 1 full pound after her birth. But, errors are human. It was not a life threatening mistake. I would lodge a complaint and see if you can rectify the birth weight on all certificates.

I think I would ask some questions. It is important to know the actual birth weight--2.8 or 3.127? I would talk to the midwife if possible and also talk to the hospital. At least let them know there is a discrepancy.

I think it was one of those mistakes many people helped to make. I'd let it go and move on.

Your son is okay, right? So, no real harm done?

sorry im just a bit confused but was it the wrong weight on the record that made them believe that he had lost so much weight...because if this is the case they put u and ur baby through alot of stress for no reason and brought ur baby into hospital unneeded. and i would most definatly be finding out what ur options.but firstly lodge a complaint with the hospital
