Hello im looking for a bit of advice. Im 35 and have 4 children. I had my tubes clamped (not tied cut or burnt just clamped) shortly after my son was born 2 years ago. I am around 20 days late on my period. I have taken several pregnancy test.. cheap and expensive ones. One showed a faint plus sign which could have been mistaken for an evaporation line but what are the odds of that? Every pregnancy test before that one and now after have all been negative. I dont want to go to a doctor just yet so I was wondering if anyone else went through this? Can you continue to get a negative test and still be pregnant? I just dont know what to think.

If your period is 20 days late, you should go to the doctor. yes it is possible to get negative tests even if you are pregnant. And if you have had your tubes clamped, the chances of ectopic pregnancy are high. If you are not pregnant, then it may be something else that needs to be checked out. So my suggestion is to see a doctor because we can't help you beyond this.
