I currently live with my parents and everytime I take my little girl up to bed at 7.30 its going on to 10.30 before she is asleep! My mums looks after her for a few hours 2 days a week buts getting to the point where she is not listening to me and then she wakes up at 6.00am where she usually wakes up at 7.30! It would be great if you could help me with some ideas, thank you.

If you have the time, play with her. If she can walk, take her for one....tiring her out could help.

How old is your daughter, and is she having daytime naps (and if so, what naps is she having)? I found my kids got like this around the time I had to remove their daytime naps. They still got tired during the day, and would fall asleep, but found a second wind later at night. Sometimes it is an indication that it is time to transition them from their nap time.

I had to lose the nap so my daughter would go to bed earlier. She would nap for an hour in the afternoon, then be up until midnight! Now she goes to sleep at 8.
