Hi there
just wanted to say thank you for answering my question. I do have another one which is bothering me. As you read in my former question I am not with the father of my unborn child. I want to know how long after the baby is born when does the father take the child. He has told me in no uncertain terms it will be soon after very soon like 2 weeks. I told him this is not going to happen that I will be feeding her and it will take awhile for her to get used to her surroundings. He told me that she has to get used to MY surroundings and she will be coming with me. This guy is a nitemare and I just dont know where to turn. Pls advise

Tina is right seek legal advice now and protect yourself from this nutter! If you are breast feeding then he cant really take the baby far as the baby will need to be fed every 2-3 hours. If you are bottle feeding then this is not an issue and he could take the baby very shortly after the birth.

Make an appointment today and get something in writing to him. No newborn should be ripped away from the mother like this, it is simply not right. If he thinks he is going to swan in and take her then you need the force of the law on your side. Speak to a lawyer today.

You probably should be looking into legal advice. He will make life hard for you if you don't do something straight away if he really wants access I'd be pushing for supervised only. I don't know why any man would want to take a newborn away from it's mother he sounds really dodgy.
