Baby is 3mo. Old and sitting with assist. Does well in the bumbo seat and can almost roll over!

I would not suggest a feeder. I tried them when my kids were little (22 and 15 year ago) And they were more of a hinderance than a help. It was just another bit of money a company wanted to get out of me. It is really best to follow the doctor's orders anymore where feeding a baby is concerned. But as for them needing only milk the first twelve months...they do start getting their nutrition else where after six months. A lot of babies have started to get teeth before 12 months and they are eating pretty much what the rest of the family eats.

The earliest you can feed babies cereal or baby food is between 4-6 months. It is not good to start any earlier then that. Also when you start to feed you want to ALWAYS use a baby spoon to feed. At first they are probably not going to eat much and most of it is going to go all over. That is fine as before 12 months food is just for fun and not a needed source of nutrition. Their nutrition comes from their milk.....thus the reason why you should not start before 4 months and when you do start you want to make sure their milk intake does not go down.
