I started my kids at 6 weeks. My jogger can let them recline a little bit and I just put a head stabilizer in for protection.

If you are running on a paved path and in good weather, I do not think you really need to wait. If you have a good jogger, they are such a steady and smooth ride. I started when my son was about 4 weeks old. I think the jogger was asmoother ride than having him in the sling while I was doing housework or gracery shopping!

I think that really depends on what kind of jogger you have, weather, and where you are running. If you have a jogger with a 5 point harness and a head stablizer you baby can be 3 months old. Now that being said I would only run on flat paved surfaces making that ride smooth. I would only go in mild weather and always had a sun shade on the stroller. Both my boys would sleep. Now that they are older they love going for rides in the stroller when I run.
