When to call?

So I'm supposed to have a scheduled c-section in mid Dec. However all day today I've been having contractions that are about 20 minutes apart and are varying in intensity. Could be braxton hicks, but nothing I do stops the contractions (resting, moving, shower, lots of water).

I know that with a regular delivery you call your doctor when your contractions are about 5 minutes appart. But what about with a c-section. Yes it will be a c-section, I really don't feel the need to explain why right now.

Thankfully I wasn't. Chances are that I'm on high alert and just extra sensitive to it all this time around. I also got a definitive answer on when to call next time. That will make it all a bit easier.

More than 6 in an hour and they are getting closer together.

at this point if you are truly in labor, they will try to stop it if at all possible. You may be put on bed rest to try and keep him in there till you hit 37 weeks.

I called the doctor earlier and am going in to get checked in a bit. I really hope he isn't coming. My husband has his second job tonight and being only 34 1/2 weeks... yeah he has some more growing to do.
