My daughter is 16 months old, going on 17 months this month. I've recently started her on fresh milk, and she seems to be doing great. However, since she is drinking regular milk I would like for her to start drinking from a Dippy cup. How can I start leaning her off her bottle? Any suggestions.

My son is 17mths and I weaned him off the bottle when he turned 1. He took to the sippy cup fine, but I do have to warm the milk a little. He won't drink it cold.

just keep introducing the sippy cup at meals and dont let them have a bottle when eating. show her how to use it. it wont take a 17 mnth old long to figure it out. my daughter has been using sippys since 8 mnths old and at 8.5 mnths dropped the bottle on her own. im sure ur daughter will get it fast

Both my kids were taken off the bottle at 18 months. I started with a nuby (it's got a bottle like top but more like a sippy cup) Then I moved onto the sippy cup a few months later.
