I am the mum of 3 month old twins. Born at 36 weeks and 5 days. My little boy is quite settled but my little girl (born 3lb8) still cries alot throughout the day. I have had conflicting advise, e.g controlled crying, but then was told that shes too young for this. I try not to rush to her when she cries. She doesnt always take comfort from my cuddles anyway! she is taking medication for reflux so I guess that doesnt help. Any advice would be great...pulling my hair out a bit as thought there would have been some improvement by now! I have joined a baby massage class but due to crying, its sometimes tricky to put it into practice on her.

Hi Elfrieda,

Thankyou so much for your reply. It's realy tough at the moment as you can understand. Trying to give her lots of love and hopefully time will heal!

Kind regards Sam

Colic usually settles down around the 3 month mark. My son (who was 5 days overdue) cried until he was 3.5 months. Maybe you'll need to go the extra 4 weeks that the babies were early, so an extra month of crying for you. :( I'm sorry you have to go through this. I hope you're getting lots of help!
