Are you or your daughter's father small? All of my children are small (my boys are 7 and maybe 45 lb [20 kg] ). Their father is also small. If her dr isn't concerned and overall healthy, then I wouldn't worry

That is on the small side, but as long as she is continuing to grow and her doctor isn't worried... you shouldn't be either.

How old is she and how big is she? Is she growing and maintaining her place (whatever place that might be) on the growth chart... or is she losing weight?

'Fattening' babies up is ridiculous. Babies come in all shapes and sizes and there is NOTHING wrong w/ that. I had a baby who wasn't even 9 pounds yet at 2 months and another baby that was 13 pounds at 2 months. BOTH were perfectly healthy and happy. That first tiny baby is now 5'2" at 12 years old and the bigger baby is barely 42 pounds at 6. ;)

Babies come in all shapes and sizes. Not all babies are fat. How old is your baby?
