My periods is got delayed by 12 days since now. I tried home pregnancy test twice. The first result was negative but the second test showed negative within 10 mins and when I checked it after an hour I found a faint positive line. Which one is correct? Pls help me.. I am waiting to share this with my husband... :)

It still could be pregnancy, it may just be that your hormone levels are not high enough to record on your pregnancy test. I would suggest going to see your doctor and having a check up and maybe a blood test. If it isn't pregnancy, it should be something to talk to your doctor about anyway.

A test should never be read after 10 minutes - it won't be accurate. You need to read your instructions. So basically, your second test is also negative - the faint positive line after an hour is invalid.

I went for almost a year without a period due to some major stress so it is entirely possible that stress, hormone changes, etc. could be delaying your period.

It could be a pregnancy. It could also be stress. If you think you may be pregnant, check with your doctor.

Thank you Jodi for replying. Can there be any other reasons for delay in periods after marriage if not pregnancy? Coz this is the first time I am facing such an issue since marriage.
