white patch on face

My daughter is almost 3yrs of age n their is a white patch on her face n I showed it to skin specialist he said not to worry its not calcium deficiency it will go away but again it has appeared on her face n she also doesn't drink milk at all so wjt to do is their any homeremedy to apply or ointment plz suggest wht to do.

Calcium is an important nutrient but it does not affect the color of a child's skin. there is a condition called Vitiligo that causes areas of the skin to lose pigment and to become lighter. I cannot tell you if this is what is happening with your child but here is a link with some information:

No he didn't say anything but people do say tgat its bcoz of lack of calcium however I've been breast feedind her for abt 2nhalf yrs n she never drinks outside milk even I tried giving her bournvita horlicks n etc but still she doesn't drinks milk so now even I feel that its lack of calcium .

Before you can find a treatment, you need a diagnosis. The dermatologist told you is was not related to calcium (which I don't see why it would be) but did he give you any idea what it actually is?

Yes it goes away n comes back actually this is her 2nd time its appearing on her cheeks and its soft there is no texture but its getting brighter.

Please clarify, does it go away and come back? Is it smooth and feel like the rest of her skin or does it have texture?
