No, I don't think so. I had two awful labours and I would love to have another baby. The only reason I'm not going to is because I had high-risk pregnancies with both my girls, and my doc said it might not be the safest idea to get pregnant again.

My son and I almost died during a very horrible labor and delivery. I didn't think I'd ever want another child be we went on to have 2 more. The only thing I'd change is that I wish I had gotten pregnant sooner. I'd love to have another child between #1 and #2.
I had a very long and painful labour with my son ... he was stuck in the cervix area and the pushing lasted for 3 hours. Vacuum, forceps, and episiotomy later, I forgot about all the pain the moment I first saw him. With my daughter, the pregnancy was awful, and we almost lost her to a placental abruption. She was heaven sent! Although I would LOVE to have a 3rd child, I'm really scared to risk my life & that of my child. Tough decision...good luck!

i just has a bad labour experience 6 weeks ago and want another... this labour took the woman 5 times to get the epidural needle in properly after spending so long scraping my spin with it.. was horrible almost wasnt able to have medication bc she couldnt get it in properly and she was going to give up.. if it was natural might be another story lol

I have very long (days) and hard labors, including one stillbirth, a placental abruption, and twins (one going breech), and have delivered 6 children (5 living) and still want one or two more. I actually still love childbirth.

I'm with you on the hard pregnancy thing Ib threw up everything including water well into my third tri semester. It was very nerve wrecking to say the least especially since we all know how much we have food cravings during that time.

Well I don't think you're mad it's a mother's instinct to want more kids to love, most moms love kids! lol, I have three boys and my second pregnancy was so bad I had gestational diabetes, I was on bedrest from Jan to Sept. and we had some major issues to the point where the doctor's really wasn't sure which one of us would make it, but we both made it and we're fine he's four now and almost 15months later we had Tylyn. You could only imagine everybody thought me and my husbands were equally nuts. Tylyn labor was terrible in the beginning but we used pain management that time around and after the epi- I felt like a million bucks! Look into different pain managements like yoga, birthing classes, different forms of medicines that can be administered during labor it might not be that bad. Good Luck!

Nothing about my labor went as planed, I even told the janitor if he could get her out of me I was willing to let him help. I ended up having a c-section after all the labor.. But she is 6 weeks old this week, and I am ready to do it all over again! Guess I am just as crazy... but I love my baby, and think every bit of the pain was worth it.

Lord knows we all have our "horror" story as moms.. I have had 4 preemies... One of which was a 28 weeker. He spent a month in the hospital... I have had one C-Section.... and 3 all natural births. Mine have all ben extremely painful, fast, and well, as you can see I have 4 babies.. :) So in the end it is ALL worth the pain that you go through to have them. I love them very much!

I had a horrible pregnancy and labor. I had a lot of complications while pregnant with my son and even got hospitalized from hyperemesis gravidarum (severe morning sickness) 9 weeks pregnant. I felt every contraction because the epidural never worked! It finally started working when I started pushing, and then the doctor had to get the vacuum because his head got stuck under my pelvic bone. Pretty traumatic for a first time mom!
To answer your questions, I don't think us you're mad. Babies have a way of making us moms forget all the trouble and pain we went through to have them here. I'm not sure if I want another one. I lost two babies in 2008 to rare complications, and I'm just scared of going through that again. I'm also scared of getting the hyperemesis and diabetes again in another pregnancy since it is likely I will develop those conditions again. Go for it girl if you want another one! Good luck when y'all try again!
