I love having my son at home always but I worry his missing out on his time with friends and missing out on his school education

Wow jodie that's hot, no I wouldn't like heat like that. How are you coping ? I visited Dubai after I got married in the start of there summer and I couldn't step 5 feet from the pool with out feeling like I was going to collapse from heat lol. I would like a little but of sun thou,I'm fed up of dark mornings, dark nights, it's dull and cold here.

Uh, no, I am pretty sure you'd find temperatures of 42C and above pretty ordinary. We have been having days on end of temperatures well above 37C (that's 100F and above), and just the other day, Sydney reached almost 46C (115F). That's road melting temperatures.

We don't have snow - we are in the middle of our hottest summer ever, and I don't want my kids back at school yet - because that means I have to go back to work ;P

Our schools arnt closed so wer are walking a mile in it, I'd love a snow day were we can play in it go home get warm and not have to go out again.
