why can't an infant have pablum?

Ok, so I just looked up what pablum is, which is an infant cereal. This is not necessary for your infant, and can fill them up so they do not drink their breast milk or formula. It will take away from there daily intake of what they should be having.

Well, I would have to look up what that is, but my automatic answer is that infants should ONLY be getting breast milk or formula. There little bodies cannot properly digest anything else, and these 2 things are the only source of nutrition they should be receiving.
