To prevent it, I would stay away from artificial sweeteners and carbonated beverages. It is safe to take antacids for heartburn (Maalox, Mylanta, Rolaids, Tums). Also try Simethicone for gas relief (Gas-X, Maalox Anti-Gas, Mylanta Gas, Mylicon). These are all baby safe! Hope you get to feeling better!

And Tootsie Pops are a sucker candy with chocolate inside. They are to die for! I need to mail you some :)

Good for you for eating something healthy! I am obsessed with Tootsie Pops right now! I wish I could say I was wanting bananas! I keep telling myself that eventually I will get my pre pregnancy body back (this might be wishful thinking on my part!)

I hope so Laura because I do walk like a tortoise already,I told my husband today maybe I should backup on eating a little bit less,I eat bananas like nobodies business what is weird to me is I tend to get the same cravings as my first but more expensive taste, In the beginning I didnt even wanted to smell a banana at far but now I am craving it everyday, i can eat 20 of time in one hour can you believe that Laura? I love the portions I put in during the day at work i love feeding my baby and to feel her/his kicks after eating makes my giggle with you well some are a bit painful but there is joy in it.

I am about 4 months and I feel so chubby! It doesn't even feel like baby to me because all I can see are chub rolls. I hope you get to feeling more like yourself soon, Maryka!

You can still nurse, you baby may have a hard time latching on at first and also when you are very full of milk. It was irresponsible of the doctor to not let you try to nurse the first time. If you can meet with a lactation consultant before baby arrives, she can help you choose the best ways to help baby latch on to your breast. Also, do you feel pain in your bladder all of the time, when you urinate or when baby moves? You might want to have the doctor check to see if you have a bladder infection.

Sarah heads up for you, thank you for explaining that so clear one more quiz, id like to know since I didnt breastfeed my first baby I am so keen and looking forward to breastfeeding my baby the second one,The doctor gave me no choice with the first without a decent reason really so up to this day I was just told that I have flat nipples and the rest is history, but as I see and read a lot of stories on mothers that had the same issue they had no problem breastfeeding? you think it will be hard for my baby to suck on them? I really do want to breastfeed

Each pregnancy is going to be different. With my first I carried really high. My second I carried REALLY low.....she felt like she was going to fall out at 25 weeks. My third and forth babies have been more in the middle. With each one they have laid differently and affect different parts of my body.

It is most likely how you are carrying this baby. Also if this is not your first pregnancy you are going to show faster and may look bigger then your first.
