My 6 year old grandson has starting hitting other children and the teaching staff at his kindergarten "for no reason". He just started this when he went back from spring break. At the same time the school and his mommy began potty training him. He has been potty training for 3 weeks now. Kinda getting the pee pee thing...although he still goes in his pullups if we miss it. We are taking him every 30 minutes...but don't know how often they are taking him at school. We are NOT seeing this behavior at home. The teachers are also saying that he has started running from them. He is supposed to have an aide at school 24/7. Have ant of you had this problem. The school are the ones that said they think he is ready for potty training. He has autism and is nonverbal. He also has a very rare chromosome disorder. Please...we need some help!!!

we are taking my grandson to his pediatric psychiatrist today to address this issue specifically. She is the doctor who prescribes all his medications. He is such a sweet little boy and it breaks my heart that he is obviously getting upset for some reason. Thanks so much for your comment. Hugs♥

Could it be out of frustration?? He may be frustrated and unable to communicate makes him frustrated enough to hit as he can't verbalize.
